I took three years of tap lessons, modern dance and ballet through the Lafayette YWCA after my college years. Every year the YWCA put on an annual spring recital at the Long Center for the Performing Arts downtown. I also had the privilege of being a dancer in Gloria, an original musical composition written to honor and benefit Jo Anne McGuire. Jo Anne was Kevin McGuire's mother and Kevin had been my director in Hair.
