Before you start

• Any animal activity needs to be covered under an approved protocol.
  
  
• Any individual working with animals needs to be trained and qualified and qualification documented.
  
  
  • No personnel may work independently with animals until they have received training appropriate to their responsibilities. During training, DIRECT supervision by a qualifed person is required.
    
    
  • When training is complete, new personnel should be added to project by the PI and the individual's qualifications should be reported (or updated) to PACUC via a Qualifications Form.
